CHICAGO, Ill. – Sep. 12, 2022 – Transpire, a global leader in trial support and presentation technology, has introduced Transpire LIVE - a real-time transcription and live exhibit sharing solution complete with delivery capabilities and post-event collaboration for a single Attorney Access Fee. Transpire LIVE is part of the full Transpire platform, which also includes online trial prep and courtroom presentation functionality.

Transpire’s web-based real-time transcription and exhibit sharing technology has been in use overseas for nearly a year as part of the Epiq TMX platform, replacing standalone offline applications in trials, arbitrations, and government inquiries serviced by Epiq Global’s international court reporting business. This technology is now being made available directly to U.S. court reporting firms and their clients – even if they are not already Transpire or Epiq TMX users – during depositions and other transcribed events for a flat per-user fee. Moreover, court reporting partners offering Transpire LIVE are also certified to provide the same real-time transcription and exhibit sharing services to Epiq clients and Transpire enterprise customers at no additional cost to the partner, broadening their potential customer base and value-added offerings.

”Not only is this package feature-rich, but we’ve simplified our pricing down to a single Attorney User Access Fee for LIVE events, requiring no commitment to subscribe to the broader platform,” said Jen Freeman, Transpire’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Court reporting firms can instantly be more effective and competitive with far less effort and no upfront cost. We’ve all been asked to do more with less in recent years and court reporters are no exception.”

Transpire LIVE includes real-time transcription and exhibit sharing capabilities during live events like depositions and arbitrations. All invited parties simply log in via the web from an emailed invitation. In parallel with the real-time feed, exhibits are revealed to other parties by the questioning attorney and stamped within the system, immediately becoming the exhibit of record. Most significantly, both the transcript and exhibits remain in the system after the event for subsequent review by litigation teams, eliminating the need for a separate delivery process or online repository. Those users wishing to avail themselves of the broader Transpire platform can then “turn on” the full product through a simple signup process, or otherwise can download final deliverables for use with their trial presentation platform of choice.

”This is unprecedented,” continued Freeman. “The focus has been on the left side of e-discovery for so long, and the dearth of innovation in the transcription and trial technology spaces compared to e-discovery and collection is glaring. Transpire is a game-changer and we are incredibly excited to bring the Transpire Live solution to market.”

Real-time transcripts and shared exhibits serve as the foundation for the final deliverables and never need to leave Transpire’s secure workspace. Final transcripts are later overlaid onto the real-time draft, remapping user annotations and exhibit links. Videographers can then upload videos and sync files directly into the platform, immediately making the complete synchronized video transcript available to litigation teams with no cumbersome downloads or import processes.

“Transpire LIVE provides a seamless transition to trial preparation, which any litigator knows should begin on day one,” said Peter Moore, Transpire’s CEO and Founder, and former trial attorney. “Transpire has always been about empowering legal teams to begin trial prep from the first deposition and maintaining a single source of truth for all case-critical evidence up to and during trial. Transpire LIVE now offers teams an easy and affordable on-ramp to this technology through their preferred court reporting firms. By eliminating messy handoffs and needless steps in the live transcription and delivery process, our court reporting partners can be more nimble, more profitable and offer greater value to their customers.”
