Transpire Expands Leadership Team with Appointment of CRO to Fuel Next Stage of Growth
Jen Freeman tapped to lead marketing initiatives and spearhead sales, customer success and strategic partnership efforts.

Freeman has 20+ years of experience in sales and customer success at high-growth legal tech companies, including Relativity.
CHICAGO, Ill. – Jul. 25, 2022 – Transpire, the leading provider of Trial software, announced the appointment of Jen Freeman as the company’s chief revenue officer (CRO). In this newly created role, Freeman will lead Transpire’s sales and marketing teams, and spearhead customer success and strategic partnership efforts. The company recently rebranded, a switch Jen flipped less than 30 days after joining the company.
“The last twelve months have seen tremendous growth for Transpire - driven almost entirely by our partners, with no sales force of our own,” said Peter Moore, Founder and CEO of Transpire. “Adding a Chief Revenue Officer was the critical next step in our evolution. I met Jen over a decade ago, while still practicing law, in search of a DIY e-discovery tool (it turns out it didn’t really exist, and still doesn’t). Over the years we became great friends. As soon as I took the plunge and started what was then Legistek, we looked for ways to work together.”
Freeman brings 20+ years of legal technology expertise to Transpire. She left her practice with a large Chicago law firm in 2003, She joined Kroll Ontrack in 2003, leaving her large Chicago law firm practice to help define the emerging e-discovery industry. In 2012 she joined FTI Consulting to grow a managed services offering into a multimillion-dollar business line. In 2019, Jen switched her focus to pure-play SaaS for market leader Relativity where she cultivated increased self-discipline around sales process and methodology and which informed her ultimate decision to join Transpire.
“This year the timing was finally right,” said Moore. “Jen’s passion for our mission and her background in legal tech sales spanning everything from e-discovery to trial support are simply unmatched. Plus, that she was willing to give up a position with the industry leader to join our little experiment makes her about as crazy as I am.”
